Plattsburgh State University hockey has won a number of SUNYAC accolades since the league started naming a conference champion during the 1977-78 season. Plattsburgh State has won a total of seventeen league titles, including a record 6 straight conference championships between 1996 and 2002.

The club has also recieved five Coach of the Year honors, five Player of the Year honors, eight Rookie of the Year honors, and twelve SUNYAC Tournament MVP's. The program has also had a number of players named to the All-SUNYAC and All-Tournament Teams.
